Yeah yeah I bought a SNES with Super Mario Kart I need to stop going on about it. I’m aware no one but myself and a couple of particularly sad followers care.

But anyway, let me tell you more about Super Mario Kart and how much better I am than you at it.

This is a genuine offer……

So if you can beat my time on Mario Circuit 1 I’ll give you a £50 voucher for the shop. That’s in writing now so I can’t go back on it. Will 100% regret this.

A few rules because I know you lot of greedy t***s and will try and cheat.

It has to be Mario Circuit 1 (I’m s**t at the rest).

You can’t spend all day on it. 10 goes max. Firstly that’s just cheating and secondly I really don’t want you hanging about for too long as dealing with you in short bursts is bad enough.

Play. Lose. Leave.

Anyway can’t think of anything else to say and I’m bored.

Morning losers.

I thought I’d share these amazing photographs of the shop taken by . They’ve somehow managed to make the shop look good. Thank you so much to Mill Magazine for their continued support and to the amazing Paul that runs runs the magazine. Genuinely the most passionate Paisley promoter around and a huuuuuge asset to the town. Thanks Paul. He also happens to be a painfully, painfully handsome man and I hate him for that.

Bailey’s Antiques is 5 years old next week!

Birthday event in the shop Saturday 30th August 10am-6pm.

Can’t believe we’re still open. Opened a shop on a whim just after Covid because it sounded like a laugh and I didn’t want a real job and somehow we’re still here. I’m still shocked every day when people come in. I know I joke around on here and slag you off but to be serious for a moment. I truly, truly do hate you. So much. I’m working on a business model that removes the customer from the process.

In the meantime, to celebrate 5 years, we’ll have a “10% off everything” day on Saturday 30th August and open until 6 rather than 4. We may even have drinks 4-6. We may not. I’m not promising anything. I can’t even be 100% sure it will happen at all. I know me. And it’s possible I cancel it on the actual day without telling anyone. I have form.

But if it goes ahead it would be nice to see as many of you as possible. I need validation.

Please share and promote this post as much as possible. My aim is to get so many people turning up that it’s actually awful and uncomfortable. Like an 18th birthday party invaded by bigger kids. I want to feel overwhelmed and panicked and have to ask you all to leave. I want the experience to be one of of annoyance, fear and disgust. For everyone involved.
