I always find a boutique gem when I'm on holiday
It's one of my superpowers
It's getting harder to do as our High Streets suffer and independent businesses struggle to survive extortionate costs and the competition of fast fashion giants.
But Pembrokeshire did not disappoint
After a tour of Pembroke Castle which was thoroughly enjoyable we headed into the town and caught my eye
The shop is a TARDIS. An Aladdin's cave of unique gorgeousness. I met this powerhouse of a woman, Denise, who not only manages and owns this boutique but hand creates and upcycles clothing into something truly original and one-off. She also does amazing work in and for her local community.
I made 3 purchases I was truly excited by and I'll share them another day. Honestly I spent quite some time listening to Denise who is a fascinating woman. She gave me a sneak peek of these upcycled band tees she had created for an upcoming fashion show.
She goes live on her page on Fridays where you can shop her collection.
Honestly if you have the remotest bit of drama, edge, quirk, romance, flamboyance, you'll give her a follow, or, even better, a visit and you'll thank me for sure.
To say this woman reignited a sense of adventure with clothes that has been slightly dormant in me is an understatement.
I can't wait to see what her Friday's offer.
