Some people come into our lives with no agenda, just pure light.
My darling friend Karen looks at life like no other. I honestly don't know anyone quite like her.
I've known her about 10 years now. She does not have an unkind word about anyone or anything. She sees only the light and the light always finds her.
A moment in her company nourishes the soul.
If you know Karen you will know what I'm saying is true. You may even have a card like this one or a postcard with heartwarming words written, most probably, from her kitchen table one early morning.
When this arrived last week it was just the right moment and it turns out the written word can also nourish the soul.
I'm sharing this proudly. That's me btw in my red dress. Karen was afraid she'd messed my hair up but I think it's spot on.
