When I was an art student at Gray’s School of Art, I was full of hopes and dreams for the future. I wanted to change the world, and my younger self would have been so proud to see my name connected with the V&A 25 years later. It feels like those dreams are becoming reality, helping to create positive change through inclusion and representation in design.
Next Saturday, I am joining the discussion panel on Exploring the Politics of Body Diversity on the Runway at the V&A in Dundee.
The panel will be led by Morgan and Rosalind, co-founders of I Am More Than (), a campaign developed to promote body inclusivity in the fashion industry.
As a disabled person in a body that is often marginalised from fashion and design, this is obviously a topic I am very passionate about. Inclusion and representation have been at the heart of Molke from the very beginning, so I have a lot to say!
I will be joined by Ellie Louse Brown, founder of adaptive fashion brand Recondition (.mcr) and producer of Manchester's Disability Pride Catwalk and digital creator Blessing Afolayan (.blessin).
