Perth deserves a city centre that people can actually visit without worrying about parking costs.
A simple 2 hours of free parking would make a huge difference. It would encourage people to pop into independent shops, grab a coffee, have lunch, visit local businesses, and spend time in the city centre instead of choosing retail parks or shopping online.
Our independent businesses are the heart of Perth. They create jobs, bring character to the city, and keep our high street alive, but they need people through the door to survive.
