🎄🎄We are reaching out to our tree hosts, can you get in touch if you wish to be a tree host again this year, or are you interested in hosting this year for the first time?
We expect this year to be in more demand than previously and we donated around 6000 gifts last year, so we are hoping that you can come on board to host a tree in your workplace.

This September will mark 40 years since Robert Mackie Funeral Directors was established.

We have been closed the last week as 'the boss' is off to relax in Mexico before the Christmas rush of all that it involves.
Normal opening will resume until Mid October where the Christmas events, including our Christmas Appeal for gifts, clothing and other items to help Santa.
If you like to host a 'giving tree' this year, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We totally rely on the generosity of you all to help us to achieve that happy faces on Christmas morning.

BUCHAN GIVING TREE
FESTIVAL OF TREES - 4th & 5th December 2026

Every year during the first weekend in December, we hold our annual festival of trees and Winter Wonderland event.

We are looking for groups, charities, football teams, businesses, dance groups, organisations etc to come down to Buchan Giving Tree and decorate a tree. This would involve you making/ bringing your own decorations to suit your theme or group.

During our Winter Wonderland events, all attendees will vote their favourite tree and the votes will be counted. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd to be won!

This is great fun for all involved and we would love to hear from you if you are willing to take part and decorate a tree. Please message the page or the phone to register.

Can you also tag anyone you think would love to be involved!

McDonald’s Fraserburgh donates £10,000 to Shirley’s Space

McDonald’s Fraserburgh has donated an impressive £10,000 to local mental health charity Shirley’s Space following fundraising efforts supported by its crew, customers and the wider local community.

The funds were raised through a range of fundraising activities, with additional support from the franchise group Northern Arches Group.

Shirley’s Space provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people across Aberdeenshire who may be struggling with their mental health.

McDonald’s Fraserburgh said it was proud that the fundraising could help support the charity’s work and make a difference within the local community.

The team also thanked everyone who donated, took part in fundraising events, shared posts or supported the fundraising in any way.

The £10,000 donation will go towards supporting the work of Shirley’s Space across the community.
