Sewn with Style Welcome to 'Sewn with Style' - A one-woman seamstress service, providing help with all your sewing alterations via appointment and postal service.

'Sewn with Style' was founded by Sonya Fisher in November 2020, drawing on many years of sewing experience for friends and family. I have made 60's inspired dresses, prom, bridesmaid, ballroom and Latin dancewear, home furnishings, toys and fashion accessories. In my younger years I worked for 'Hang Ten' making surfing clothing. Sewing has always been a passion of mine and after having been made r

edundant during the Covid Pandemic I decided to turn my hobby into a full-time lifestyle and create 'Sewn with Style'. My ethos is 'to provide you with a stylish, made to measure and bespoke clothing service to suit your style'.

Fabulous linen jacket from Next brought to me by my customer who is the Father of the Bride for his daughter’s forthcoming wedding in August. Very smart suit for a summer wedding. My remit was to shorten the sleeves by 2.5cm, whilst keeping the same style, but so the edge of the smart shirt could be seen and you can also catch a glimpse of the cuflinks. Very stylish and what Sonya Fisher - Sewn with Style is all about! 👌🏻😎

👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗👗 Fabulous sage green, Greek style bridesmaid dress, brought to me recently from a new customer. This dress needed the outer chiffon layer shortened by 1.5cm and the inner skirts altering too. Now it’s the perfect length and ready to wear for a wedding in October 👗 🙌

🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩 Last minute prom jacket brought to me recently because the company they bought it from had put the wrong label on the outside and the jacket was actually a size larger! 😳 No time to trail around and buy another suit so it was brought to me to take in the back and sides a little and narrow the shoulders. Now my customer will go to the ball! 🕺🏽💃🪩

🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩 Last minute prom jacket brought to me by a new customer for alterations. The right size had been ordered but the company had put the right tag on a jacket that was actually a size larger and it was too late to find another suit 😳 So my remit was to narrow the back and side seams and narrow the shoulder width to make it all less loose. Now he WILL go to the ball (and a wedding in the summer 😁) 🪩
