If only this gilded and crested vintage Royal Crown Derby plate could talk it may tell tales of colourful, scandalous and saucy exploits and dinner or afternoon tea conversations it may have witnessed during the11th Duke of Argyll’s turbulent marriage between 1951 and 1963 to the promiscuous and adulterous socialite Margaret Whigham. Sorry about the break (and the pun) a slow to mend broken right hand has stopped play the past 3 months. Hoping to get things going again now gradually thoughj. Starting with the smaller pieces, I'm just getting some items on line and will post some shortly. Thanks to Stuart and Shelley at thevintagetradingcompany over in Exeter for keeping my unit ticking over - sorry I've been a stranger!
