Bespoke handmade Rag dolls, seasonal toys and much more all handmade by me. All my toys carry the CE label. This page is the result of it.

This has been a long working progress but after some lovely craft fairs at Christmas 2013 I knew which way to go with my ideas. Everyone has the knack for something and mine is sewing and the best thing is I LOVE it. Everything is handmade by me so they are all unique in someway. I spend hours sourcing beautiful fabrics on the web with a soft spot for Liberty of London. Every 'like' every 'share' is making my dream come true so I really do appreciate everyone.

Nice little morning trip to Fowey and Looe shops to restock before bank hols weekend, looking nice and full with lots of goodies to buy 💕

Was able to make a couple of Pirate Pearls and take them down, she looks great in the Fowey shop window along with Pirate Pete 🏴‍☠️

Introducing a customer order - meet Pearl the Pirate although I’m sure the little girl receiving her will choose a different name 🏴‍☠️

I have really loved making her and it is only the second one I have made, both been orders but definitely need to make some for the shops especially in Looe and Fowey.

New Liberty of London top knot headbands and 2 Dolly’s completed in Tavistock shop 💕

Had a great 2 days there, some amazing customers. Had a full low down with a couple as we were spying on a wedding 😂 brilliant!

Then the previous owners of The Twigs aka The Two Trees came in, recognised them straight away, absolute legends 💕

Happy happy days 😁

Slowly but surely they are getting there! 🧜‍♀️

My mermaids are fully hand sewn by me and there lies a problem, after my Breast Cancer diagnosis I developed Lymphodema in my right arm and I’m right handed.

It’s a bu**er (polite as I can be) at the best of times so on a good day (swollen but not as swollen) I try to do lots, which isn’t as much as I would like to do and on a not as good day (elephants trunk arm and fingers) it’s slow, very slow 🐌

So I tend to have several projects on the go to try and keep making even if it’s cutting out or worse case but satisfying scenario, ordering lovely fabrics 😁💕

Mermaids and Dolly’s on my making table tonight.

My most popular Dolly is Betsy, this Tana lawn comes in lots of colour ways and I love picking bright hair to give her some uniqueness 💕

My yellow haired Dolly is called Carmella Daisy, such a beautiful name for the Liberty Tana Lawn, I just had to buy it 💕

One of my favourite times in creating the mermaids, is picking the hair colours and beading for her tail, no two mermaids are the same 🧜‍♀️

Must dash lots of sewing to do before bed!

Lots of sewing this weekend, all windows open and my sewing room is actually the coolest room in my house.

My dyed sheep locks finally turned up today after getting lost but definitely worth the wait, how stunning are these colours !! … now to finish the mermaids 🧜‍♀️

My son used to make the felt doll/mermaid stands but I do now, it’s actually very satisfying! and I’m allowed to do it in his garage 😆 win win
