One of the things I hate most? Having to say no 🤍

This year, I’ve had to turn away brides looking for alterations because my diary was already full.

Whether you’re planning couture or need expert alterations, giving yourself plenty of time is one of the best things you can do. Beautiful dresses aren’t rushed, and neither is the process behind them.

She doesn't need a knight in shining armour, but if she did, it would be you 🤍

This was just a small snippet from my very emotional speech at a very special wedding...

Creating a wedding dress for your bestie is equal parts honour, excitement, and absolute chaos.

There were countless messages.
There was a fitting during a girls' weekend away.
There was a surprisingly long journey to get the sleeves just right.
And there were definitely moments where we questioned our life choices.

But that's the beauty of couture. It's a process. It's collaborative. And sometimes it takes a few tries to get every last detail exactly right.

Watching her walk down the aisle in a dress we'd spent months perfecting was pretty special. Although I can confirm the dress certainly didn't look quite this pristine by the end of what was an incredible wedding day (the split may have been a tad higher)

The biggest privilege wasn't designing the dress. It was standing beside one of my favourite humans as she married the love of her life (who's also pretty amazing) 🤍
