It’s been a little quiet on here recently… but that’s only because behind the scenes we’ve been sewing away and keeping very busy ✨🧵

With bridal season and prom season both in full swing, this is always one of our busiest times of year — and we’ve been spending our days helping some lovely clients get ready for their special moments ✨

🤍✨ A Moment for the dress ✨🤍

When initially discussing alterations with a bride, we always reccomend an intial fitting with follow up fittings as required so we can see exactly how to achieve that flawless finish 👰 Katie’s dress was a perfect example of that - at first what was initially thought to be a length alteration ended up being a full back seam taper too🪡🧵

Adjusting and reshaping the back with a seam taper for a perfect finish needs to include:
💫 Adjusting the lined inner basque
🌸 Aligning the bardot collar with zip, buttons & hoop closure
💍 Refitting all inner linings and petticoat

The end result? A stunning, perfectly fitting gown ready for Katie’s big day. Congratulations, Katie — you looked beautiful!💕
