Good morning all and happy Easter Monday! Hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxed bank holiday.
We’ve been a bit behind on posting/collecting/sharing recently.... But we’re back!
We’ve made a few donations which we never shared: First one for Jan/Feb sales was to Waggy Tails rescue centre.
This is a brilliant local charity helping abandoned and vulnerable animals in the Dorset area. Personal as well to my family as we adopted a little doggie from here 2 years ago. The work they do really is wonderful and run by such fantastic selfless people.

Evening everybody and happy December!
Like many of you were very happy it’s finally December in this year unlike any other in our lifetime.
We’ve been a bit quiet lately but we’ve been selling quietly in the background.
This week we will announce the charity donation for September and October sales! So keep your eyes peeled.
With Christmas just around the corner take a look at the items we have for sale on our commerce profile (Stef Davis).
We’re also investigating a worthwhile cause for November and December donations.

So today we collected (and rounded up) the donation for our chosen charity from August and Septembers sales.
We’re pleased to say we donated +10% of profits to Routes to Roots Poole a local charity supporting vulnerable and homeless adults in Poole and surrounding areas.
A very worthwhile charity in this current climate - as we start entering the colder months please spare a thought for those less fortunate than us, those who don’t have a warm home and a friendly face as the nights draw in.

Pleased to be able to offer (even a little) bit of help for this worthwhile cause.

Routes to Roots supports rough sleepers, vulnerably housed (sofa surfers or in B&Bs) and newly housed (formerly homeless) adults in Poole. At five drop-ins we provide basic necessities, such as showers, hot food, clothing and sleeping bags, and offer outreach access to the Poole addictions team, men...

Hi everyone!!

We’ve been busy at Preloved Poole getting everything together for a boot sale - we’ve got lots of kids clothes, games, dvds, books and lots of great ladies and men’s clothes too! We’re going to be doing a £1 stall very soon - will let you know once confirmed.

For now we have posted lots of amazing bits and bobs on our Facebook commerce profile and on eBay.

Lots of Disney collectible toys, kids toys and games, some collectible items too.

All priced for resale.

We are ready again for collections so do get in touch with us to arrange contact free collection.
Just a little reminder....

We offer a service of convenience for the people of Poole and surrounding area offering contact free collection services of all your preloved items.
Charity shops are still limiting donations, or you might not be able to get out still; we will collect your items, clean them up and sell them on to the local community at a great price.
Anything we can’t sell gets posted on olio for free or donated to refuge.
10% of our profits go directly to local charities who will really benefit from the cash donation (charities which don’t have a shop front).

We will be announcing August and September chosen charity next week!
We’re very excited to make this announcement and look forward to hearing how they will benefit from the donation.

We are also working on a few exciting opportunities and look forward to making some announcements shortly.

Who are we? What do we do?

We are a local business set up during the pandemic offering a service of convenience for the local people of Poole.
What with charity shops now having a waiting list or limits on what you can donate we are accepting all donations. All contact free.
We offer a service of convinence.
You pack up your unwanted items and tell us the time and location and we will collect them all contact free.

Well also donate 10% of all profits directly to local charities in cash. Allowing them to recognise the true cash benefit of your donated goods.
We have chosen local charities who don’t have shop fronts and need cash donations now more than ever (this months charity will be announced end of September).

We understand people have a lot of stuff following the big spring cleans during lockdown and are struggling to get rid of these at charity shops or don’t have the time to personally list every item for sale (trust me I know the effort involved) so we offer a hassle free collection service.
We also resell our items very competitively so the local community are also getting a really good deal.
Anything we can’t sell we list on olio for free - benefiting someone in need and minimising waste.

We have priced our resale items very competitively.
So not only are we helping others by collecting their unwanted Preloved items but were also re-selling to the local community at excellent value.
Wins all round really 👍🏻☮️

We price competitively to ensure we can move the stock along quickly.

Also 2 of the free bits posted on Olio have been arranged for collection tomorrow.

Glad these were of use to someone and didn’t get sent to the tip.

Another contributing factor to our business is ensuring someone is getting use of your preloved items.
We live in a society which throws out so much.
So much which can be of use to others.
I love the Olio app as it not only posts excess food for donation (also details food banks) but also any other misc items you don’t want to throw out.
Please check it out and think twice before you throw away - can someone else make use of this?
I’m sure the answer would be yes if it was free.
