A beautiful selection of colourful Kantha garments have arrived at Ebb & Flow this week 💚 Kantha is a traditional form of hand embroidery and quilting originating from South Asia. Old and discarded saris were stockpiled and layered together in a patchwork style. A simple running stitch was used to secure the layers and a new garment was created. Even the thread used for the running stitch was salvaged from the original saris. Recycling in its purest form.
Pop down to the shipyard to check out this gorgeous selection of jackets, wide legged 3/4 length trousers and skirts. Every single item is a complete one off 💚

They’re back …. and in a whole host of fab new colours.

Our favourite shoulder and cross body bags are handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal by artisans working within a World Fair Trade Organization certified collective.

Each bag is individually stitched and finished by skilled makers, including women supported through long-term fair employment opportunities.
