I’ve been MIA for a very long time and here’s why…

Although all you saw on social media were my beautiful blankets and how popular they had become (and they were! I could barely keep up with the orders!)

What you didn’t see is I learnt to knit as a coping mechanism after my husband was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) in 2020. I would knit everyday in his hospital room for 4 years as a form of therapy, it would help me feel like I was in control of an uncontrollable situation.

The reason I have been MIA is after Jamie passed in June 2024 I could no longer knit. What once soothed my nervous system now sent it into overdrive.

I cut everything out and ignored the world. I lost my Etsy shop and all the momentum and glowing reviews I had built. My apologies is I cancelled your order or ignored your messages but after a year and a half I can finally pick up a pair of needles without feeling any kind of way.

My sincerest apologies to anyone I may have let down during that time. I’m now back and ready to continue making beautiful baby blankets for your little ones!

This is Ivy & her favourite blanket. She doesn’t like it when it’s time to clean the blanket and will refuse to let go even when her mum is trying to dry it … (swipe to see!) so much so her mum had to get a second blanket so she can clean her other one in peace 😆
