It has been a few weeks since I closed the doors for the final time and I have been overwhelmed by kind comments and messages I have received.

It is truly humbling to hear that Chantelle Originals has been part of so many of your family histories. You have been part of mine for over 40 years and I will treasure so many happy memories.

Some of you may be shocked by my recent post that I'm retiring. After many memorable years in business, it's sadly time I retire and have some time for me. I'm sad to be closing the shop, but I've soo many happy memories I'll be leaving with, having dressed generations of families, and their children. It is my intention to close by the end of May, so keep a look out for my sale dates, I'm selling off the last remaining stock of dresses this weekend, then will be announcing the sale of the fixtures and fittings towards the end. I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone for your custom over the many years in business, I've loved being a part of your memories and hope my dresses continue to be passed to generations and siblings as they have done. With a heavy heart, thank you!

My retirement sale continues this Saturday. I've the final dresses ranging from 6 month to 5 years old left on sale. What a day! Thank you to everyone that came along to our fabric and trimmings sale today. We are again taking a few days to recharge after another busy day. Chantelle Originals will be back open next week as usual, but be sure to look out for our next dates in April for our next sale.
