WIP
I sat in the grass in the garden a couple of weeks ago and painted it's energy. It was a very precious moment. I'm returning to it now to add detail in black and gold ink.

Also, sorry for the lack of posting. The little one has been dropping his nap and it's been a whole thing.

Finished! Had lots of fun doing this. It was really nice just go with what I felt and let it emerge as it's own thing. Acrylic paint and fineliner on artist board. It's not going up in the shop yet, but if you're interested then drop me a line 👍

Little work in progress.

I slowed down recently as life was the priority. I was so tired I couldn't think about chipping away at projects. I didn't like that I wasn't doing anything at all. So, I've cracked open a little pack of boards and let loose for a bit with no end game.

I really like these colours. And I love metallics. So shiny.

Definitely more to do, but I stand a chance of finishing this, which is pretty swell.

Been far too busy with life stuff to even contemplate making art or writing posts this week. That's just the way it goes sometimes. Looking after a little one is a daily adventure, full of trials, challenges, piles of fun and lots of love. It's beautiful.

So, here's a photo of my little one enjoying life in the local butterfly garden. We've been spending a lot of time there lately. It's his favourite place.

Have just wrapped up a big project at work so hopefully you'll see some more art from me soon. Or I may catch upon some sleep. That would be nice.

Blue and gold metallic shadow and light. Brigid walking towards the sun, shoots growing at her feet. Trust the rhythm of life. A very productive time while the little one naps ❤️
