OK, so I'm going to share some super vulnerable stuff with you here... 👇
I was about to quit!
As you know, I left my full time job earlier this year to run the boutique full time.
My passion for shopping, combined with dressing Blessie and Baker up for days out is what inspired me to start the boutique…
BUT what kept me going was meeting so many amazing inspirational Mama's and their little ones and connecting people together forming friendships from all over the UK
I was literally about to throw in the towel. It had been quieter than I expected.
Then I saw Mama's struggling with the increase in costs of living...
It broke my heart, and I felt like I didn't want to 'sell' to anyone.
Then I received a message about 3 days ago from a previous brand rep and loyal customer and she said...
"Hey, I saw you'd been quiet on here... I look forward to your posts. Your pictures and seeing your new stock always keeps me going. I check your page every so often to see what's new and I love receiving your pink parcels of 'happy post'. I can't wait to see what's coming next for you guys."
And suddenly, I had a lightbulb moment! 💡
I got in touch with two other Mama's who shop with us regularly and they said they too check in to see what's new as it gives them a little pick-me-up through the week.
So I decided to run a sale, and I gave all reps and loyal customers first access. I didn't want to make a profit from the sale but what I did want to do was hit a certain number of orders in 48 hours - by doing so this would bring a little bit of joy to those Mama's, and allow them shop worry free 🤍
Not very business savvy some may say 🤷♀️ BUT it makes me happy, it makes my customers happy, and in exchange I may get some beautiful pictures of little Blessie + Baker models for our social pages
I'm literally TWO orders away from hitting that target 🎯
