Join us for a FREE Envelope Cushion Cover Sewing Workshop at the FC Designer Workspace on Friday, the 17th of July, where you'll learn how to make a professionally finished envelope-style cushion cover using reclaimed interior textiles.
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build your sewing confidence, our expert tutors will guide you through every step using industrial sewing machines and professional techniques.

This London Climate Action Week we're highlighting the impact that repair and reuse can have on reducing textile waste.

With the support of Islington Council, our free repair and upcycling workshops continue to help local residents learn practical skills while extending the life of their clothing.

Since the programme began we have achieved:

🧵 956 registrations
🧵 289 attendees
🧵 542 garments repaired or upcycled

Repairing and reusing clothing is one of the simplest ways to reduce waste and support a more circular economy.

Thank you to Islington Council for continuing to invest in community-led climate action and skills development.

Together we're proving that small actions really can create lasting change.
