Flashback a few years. These adorable memory bears became BFFs at a picnic 💞. They had so many memories to share, they were there all afternoon 🥰🧸.

Precious memories preserved in a keepsake, whether it's a bear, a cushion or a quilt. Each time you hold them close, the memories are right there.🤗

It started with a letter...
"Can you macke me this plesa" from my 5 year old granddaughter 🥰

🐱 Luckily I had a pattern... but the design was specific! Stripey tail and yellow nose - not to forget the bows on the ears and the purple collar with the gold and silver charm!

I managed to get it as close to the design as I could. Her birthday is coming up... I hope she likes it 😍

So I received a letter from my 7 year old granddaughter with a request to "please can you make this, Nanna?"

Who could refuse such a request (or such a challenge)?! So I set to work ordering a rag doll pattern then deciding how I was going to adapt it to her design.

I think the motifs on the jacket were the biggest challenge, but delving into my craft stash I was able to put something together.

It's her birthday in a couple of weeks, so she'll receive it then (actually I'm seeing her this w/e so she'll get it a little early) - I can't wait to see her face 😁.... the things we do for love 💕

My 2 latest memory bears, ready to go to their forever home. I just love them 😍.

Memory bears are such a special way of holding on to precious memories of a loved one. 🤗 These ones just needed 2 items of (adult) clothing each, but it's totally up to you with what you'd like.
