We Aim:
To improve sewing skills within the community by holding regular meetings and workshops for members. To provide a relaxed environment for members to socialise whilst experimenting through textile-based projects. To share skills between members & through invited, paid, external tutors as detailed in a programme suggested by members and agreed by members present at general meetings. To contribute to the wider community through participation in community projects.

Next up will be our Thurrock Pride 2026 Launch Event – The Wharf, Grays

From 7:30pm, the celebration continues at The Wharf Pub, Grays, where the community is invited to gather for the official Thurrock Pride 2026 Launch Event. The evening features live entertainment from the dazzling Sirena Hart, the unveiling of the Pride 2025 Quilt created with Kite Spirit, and the first announcements for Pride 2026 — including acts, activities, and details for the Thurrock Pride Walk with the T100 Festival.

Guests will also hear reflections on why Pride matters locally and what it means to the community, and will have opportunities to meet volunteers, connect with others, and celebrate the start of the Pride season.

Entry is free, with booking encouraged to help manage attendance.
