💕 Happy New Year everyone – exciting plans for 2026 ahead! 💕
As many of you know, last year I worked incredibly hard to secure a new High Street premises but unfortunately wasn’t successful on three occasions. I truly believe things happen for a reason, so I’m staying positive and continuing the search for a new space for 2026.
Because of this, the Boutique at Berrys Arcade will close at the end of our lease on 31st January 2026. While I’m hopeful something new will come along quickly, I’ve also put plans in place to make sure we don’t lose what really matters.
🫶🏼Community. Connection. Togetherness🫶🏼
To bridge the gap, I’ll be hosting weekly pop-up events every Saturday in February (12–5pm) at the WI Hall by the windmill. These pop-ups will have everything you love from the Boutique clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories plus four additional stallholders (to be confirmed) and tea and coffee available throughout the day.
But this is about so much more than shopping. Over the past two years, the Boutique has become a place where people connect. We’ve shared laughter, tears, stories, and support. Especially during one of the hardest times of my life losing my mum 🪽 this community lifted me in ways I will forever be grateful for.
That’s why these pop-ups matter so much to me. I want to keep us together.
I want a space where familiar faces can meet, new friendships can form, and no one feels like they’re just walking past a shop window. Whether you come to buy something, sit with a coffee, have a chat, or simply say hello your presence truly matters.
✨ Please come along, bring a friend, bring your mum, your neighbour, or just yourself.
✨ Support local, support small, and most importantly, support each other.
If I haven’t secured a new premises after February, I’ll also be trading at Rayleigh Market every Wednesday from 4th March and everything will continue to be available online via Instagram and the website, with free collection and free local delivery.
I’ll keep you updated regularly on social media — and I’d love it if you could like, share, comment, and spread the word so we can keep this little community thriving.
Finally, I want to say how much I will miss my Berrys Arcade family. I’ve made lifelong friends especially my wonderful neighbour Caroline at Studio 3 Art and while this chapter is ending, the friendships absolutely aren’t.
💫 Please support the pop-ups, please keep showing up, and please keep this community alive.
I can’t wait to see you all. Liane 💕🫶🏼
