Hi, my name is Rachael Welby and I create handstitched gifts and creations for the home using felt. My designs are all my own work, from sketching the initial design to cutting out, before finally stitching (and stuffing). I stitch all my creations by hand with just a needle and thread giving that
unique human touch to my work. I pride myself on the quality, care, and attention to detail when making each piece. Most of what I make is made to order and this page showcases what I have made. Many of my designs can be altered to suit your needs or decor. All you need to do is ask! The name 'Cubicle 1 Creations' gives a nod to my late son James, from when he received radiotherapy and chemotherapy for his inoperable brain tumour, which he was diagnosed with at just 6 months old. He spent many weeks and months in hospital and Cubicle 1 was his room on the hospital ward. He sadly passed away in 2012, aged 10. I dedicate Cubicle 1 Creations to my boy James.
