Based in my beautiful salon near Redruth, Cornwall, I specialise in bridal hairstyling, bespoke colour, cutting and styling, creating timeless, refined looks that are tailored to each individual. Alongside salon appointments, I also travel throughout Cornwall and Devon for weddings, with additional travel available on request. I am fully insured and committed to providing a calm, professional expe

rience from your first enquiry through to your appointment or wedding day. My hairdressing journey began in 2006 when, at just 15 years old, I started my apprenticeship with Inkfish Hair Design Group in Truro. I qualified in 2009, achieving my City & Guilds NVQ Levels 1 & 2, and have continued to invest in my education ever since. Over the years I've trained with some of the industry's most respected names, including Toni & Guy, TIGI and Vidal Sassoon, as well as specialist bridal educators, allowing me to continually refine my techniques and stay current with modern trends while maintaining a timeless approach to hair. My career has taken me through respected salons including Inkfish Hair Design, Gossips Hair & Beauty in St Agnes, and The Cutting Edge in Falmouth, before launching my own business and creating The Liv Bridal Hair Studio. Today, I have the privilege of helping brides and salon clients feel confident, relaxed and like the very best version of themselves. Whether you're visiting the salon for a colour transformation or inviting me to be part of your wedding morning, my aim is always the same to create beautiful hair in a calm, welcoming environment where you feel completely looked after.

Sorry everyone for the radio silence 🤍

The summer holidays have been very consuming this year, and I’ve also taken a little more time off than I usually would to spend with the kids.

Between family life and fitting work around the holidays, I’ve definitely been a little quieter on here!

My normal working routine won’t fully return until the second week of September, so thank you for bearing with me while I juggle everything. 🤍

But I’m still here creating beautiful hair when I am in the salon ✨

This was a beautiful colour revamp I created on Saturday, bringing the hair back to life with a fresh, gorgeous finish. I absolutely loved this transformation!

I’ll be back into my normal routine very soon and I’m looking forward to a busy autumn in the studio. 🤍

Not my usual style, but honestly… I loved doing this one 🤍
The bride Lizzie wanted relaxed boho vibes, so we went for dried flowers, a fishtail plait for herself and bridemaids had textured buns, loose waves and high buns for the bridesmaids.

They got ready at The Woodland Collection before heading over to the beautiful Stennack Farm for the wedding 🌿🤍

The inspiration was a bold split tone — blonde through the front on one side, with blonde underneath on the opposite side.
But this was also a colour correction, lifting through previous dark permanent colour. As we lifted, the lengths revealed stubborn red and orange pigment.
With finer hair, you have to know when to stop. I could have pushed for a brighter blonde, but that would have meant risking the condition and potentially causing snapping — and no inspiration picture is worth that.
So we adapted 🤎 creating a rich brunette with a warm caramel contrast while keeping the split-tone concept.
This doesn't mean the blonde isn't achievable. In around 4–6 weeks, once the hair has had time to recover, we can reassess the condition, strand test and carefully try lifting those lighter sections again.
Sometimes achieving the vision is a journey, not one appointment. Healthy hair always comes first. ✨
