It's national popcorn day so why not 'pop' up to the Tan Hill Inn and indulge in one of our hot chocolates one of which is the 'pop'ular popcorn choice. So did you know...? Who knew popcorn had such a rich history? Our clever archaeologist friends dug up some fun facts! Turns out, our love for the buttery treat goes way back. Popping corn kernels was all the rage circa 3600 BC in Mexico, and even earlier in Peru around 4700 BC! Now that's what we call a timeless snack.
