This beautiful vintage leather vest came into Stitchup for a full zip replacement. We fitted a high-quality YKK zipper and, as the original studs were connected to the zip and extremely worn, they also had to be carefully replaced.
Because this is an old and high-quality leather vest, the entire process required extra care, patience, and attention to detail. Every step was carried out meticulously to protect the leather and preserve its character.
The result? A smooth, strong finish that looks great and will last for years to come.

✨ A truly special project completed at Stitchup Tailoring & Alterations ✨
We had the pleasure of creating this beautiful pair of trousers using a custom tartan fabric from Edinburgh — a design that holds special meaning for Miss Hamilton and her family.
Crafted with a full lining for comfort and structure, every check on the tartan was carefully matched to flow perfectly through each seam. Hidden side pockets add practicality without disrupting the clean lines of the design.
Seeing our client’s big smile is the best confirmation of a job well done — and we’re thrilled to hear how much she loved the final result.
