Just a quick reminder that the August order book closes early next week to ensure that I can invoice before our family break.

I will be back to work from the 3rd August but with an earlier closure it means I can answer any queries and also order any fabrics that are required but not yet in stock.

Reminder that there will be no new stock added to the Etsy store until September and that the Summer Sale is also ongoing until my break.

Summer is always quiet so I appreciate every order for the order book, Etsy and fabrics just that little bit more at the moment. Like all small businesses, we are trying to adapt under difficult and unpredictable circumstances at the moment 💜

The order book is open for August onwards and given that Christmas fabrics are going to be arriving in the next few weeks, time really is flying!

Due to a family break once pixie finishes school, the August deadline is a little earlier than it would normally be so please be aware of the dates below.

Happy slightly cooler and more pleasant weekend, hope you find a little rain somewhere to take the edge off the heat (and a break from watering the plants!) 🌞

When teacher gifts coordinate with one of your favourite small business have a little sale of scraps, I was there! You can just see the outline of my order and I don’t want to spoil the beautiful wrapping 😉

Small businesses are having to adapt just to keep going never mind keeping their socials entertaining to keep the algorithms happy.

Lisa at The Fernery is one that I think is smashing it! So pleased I have been following her page and her journey. Seeing her posts and interactions inspire me to try new ideas regularly 💚

School run done, air con on full!

Currently sitting in the garden with the pup in the shade as it’s too hot for her walk.

Pilates next - please let the air con be on full?

Sewing Liberty crowns - progress can be made in short bursts as my office is south facing and the sun doesn’t come around until lunchtime.

I fear the rest of this week will be short bursts given the predicted temperatures 🥵

Good morning!

Well I should have stayed up shouldn't I? I have had multiple screens on most of the weekend as flicking between tennis, athletics, football and F1 was getting a bit too much 🙃

Admin day today catching up with fabric launches and more stock prep. Also making the most of a cooler office as I know later in the week it will be unbearable past lunchtime.

Quick stock check so I can get the replenishment right, as much as I love a sell out - it’s not good to have an empty slot in my online shop!
