Hello 👋, I’m helping out at a new clothing boutique called Monique Fashions Belper at De Bradelei Mill.

Please give the new page a follow 🙏

I thought you might want to know, they have just launched an ‘almost everything is £10 sale’ on Monique Me Summer clothes & knitwear! Prices are incredible!

There’s Italian ‘one size’ fashion and also UK made sized clothing - knits, skirts, trousers & stretchy waist jeans.

Why not make a trip of it and grab lunch at Samantha’s Coffee shop in the courtyard plus there’s also a Pavers Shoe shop and Edinburgh Woollen Mill all at ground level.

Open Mon to Sat 10-4 and Sun 11-3.

Ps I’ll be there on Friday 28th August - I’d love to see some familiar faces 😊

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for all the wonderful comments on my previous post. As usual I’m bowled over by your amazing support ❤️

A little update - it’s been a rough ride for Alice, her partner Sam & Baby Sandi but they are hoping to leave hospital today.

Also, I have a new job working part time at Monique Fashions at De Bradelei Mill in Belper. I’ll share details of the new Monique page in my next post & please do pop by (I’m working on Friday this week) for a catch up & more baby chat! I’d love to see you!

Bye for now,

Hello everyone, i hope you’re well & enjoying this sunny weather.

I have an announcement… some news we’ve all been waiting for. I’m a grandma !!! Mum Val is a great-grandma!

Baby Sandi arrived on Saturday weighing 7lb 7oz after a lengthy labour & an emergency c-section. Mum Alice & baby are doing well.

I’m sure you’ll spot us pushing the pram around ripley in the coming weeks! Join me in wishing Alice & baby Sandi all the best for the future.

Hello 👋🏻, our shop is now permanently closed.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our wonderful customers for the amazing support we’ve received over 12 years of trading in ripley. It was especially fantastic to see so many of you over the last two weeks of closing. We definitely went out with a bang 💥 !! Thank you for the kind words, hugs, cards & gifts. We feel we have made so many lovely friends ❤️.

We’ve had an absolute ball 💃🏻 but now is the right time for us to shed the stress of running a business and embark on new (less stressful) adventures. Mum Val deserves a relaxing retirement after 60 years of working! She’s amazing isn’t she?

So it’s goodbye from us 👋🏻 and hopefully see you soon around Ripley. We’ll keep this page open for a few months and will post occasional updates that may be of interest (including baby pics in August!). You can contact us via this page if there’s anything you need to know.

P.s. There’s still a few bargain buys on our website at www.swishripley.com with an option for local delivery.

Wishing you all health & happiness.

Love Cheryl & Val xx
