From 29 June 2026, sound moderators have been removed from fi****ms licensing controls under UK law — and that’s good news for everyone who shoots.
Under Section 44 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026, the days of applying, paying and waiting for a variation every time you buy or change a moderator are over.
