There’s never a dull moment when you live and work with soldiers.
Yesterday I made this funky waistcoat and today I’ve used this priceless piece of kit that I was given many years ago by my sewing teacher before she died to let out the sleeves on a No 2 jacket.

This is such an exciting picture, for me.
The top pair of shears are my late mums and are 65+ years old.
The bottom pair are mine and I’ve had them since I was 16.
I recently had both pairs sharpened and they are so sharp again.
