Jealousy is the root of all evil

🖤 Yesterday I was hit with some not very nice comments “you look a mess”…. “You look a bag of rags”…. “That is awful”…. “Ewwwww you look rank in that”… “you look absolutely vile”… “that makes you look mingin” all in the space of an hour.
🖤 Luckily I’m thick skinned and did shake them off and remove them once I’d direct messaged the people who commented, I removed them because nastiness breeds and I didn’t want any more trolls jumping on…
🖤 Constructive criticism I will always take, direct insults I won’t…
🖤 I’m a 35 year old who absolutely grafts morning noon and night, 7 days a week and the success of the business shows I’m doing something right…
🖤 I’m putting myself out there on social media so yes I’m “allowing” people to judge and we are all entitled to do that on open social media platforms… But for the one second that you directly insult me, my tummy sinks and it’s cruel…
🖤 No matter how thick skinned a person is there is absolutely no need to troll, think it in your head and not posts… constructive criticism I’ll take all day, nastiness I have absolutely no time for…
🖤 I am seeing this far too often across woman’s business pages. Mainly in the beauty industry, and it’s sickening, Us women are not asking for hundreds of “praise” and “compliment” comments because things people sell or do are not always going to be to your taste, and that’s absolutely fine but we also don’t need the trolling.

🖤 I could of left this and thought, sod it the style they insulted me in has been a total sell out and we’ve just had to restock them. But this isn’t about sales it’s about being nice or simply moving on, it’s not hard! It’s the same people who seem to hit me personally with insults so it had to be said…
