Most fashion waste starts long before a garment is sewn — it starts at the sourcing table.
Today we’re in London meeting fabric merchants, suppliers and showrooms as we begin developing a ready-to-wear collection alongside our direct-to-client bespoke work at Kalikas Armour. The goal is simple: translate the discipline of the atelier into a structured, limited-production range that can scale responsibly and still feel sculptural, ceremonial, and made with intention.

That means asking the unglamorous questions early:
We’re asking the unglamorous questions that change everything: What’s already sitting as deadstock? Can we source responsibly without overbuying? What are the real minimums, lead times and production realities? Can we build future traceability into the product from day one?

A reminder of how powerful creativity can be when communities come together.
Spaces like this allow artists, makers and audiences to connect, exchange ideas and celebrate the importance of the creative industries. Supporting the arts is not simply appreciation — it sustains the ecosystems that allow creativity to thrive, creating new connections, relationships and alternative perspectives.
With such an extraordinary array of talent on display, selecting a piece was incredibly difficult. In the end I followed instinct, drawn to work that resonated emotionally and reflected the enduring idea that art exists to move us and provoke feeling.

Last night's screening of ACTionism at brought to life the crucial issues of how we can individually and collectively improve our decisions and actions on people, place and planet
I was Privileged to be on the panel hosted by natasha with Tracy from for the discussion and Q&A session which raised some harsh truths along with some realistic steps forward
ACTionism - the film by 18 year old Ellie Meredith ._world explores her anxiety around the climate crisis and uncertainty of her own future, being introduced to trailblazers and activists making real change and impact under the concept of a global community united by shared values.
The catalyst for Ellie’s journey was Jon Alexander, the author of Citizens.
Challenging the state of consumerism and how entrenched it is in our daily lives, our personal, social, political and economic systems globally, and how progress and success is measured through constant economic growth and expansion, literally more, more, more which comes at high sacrifices and costs
The fashion Industry has played its part in consumerism and contributed to the decline to the environmental through a myriad of ways- whilst many great initiatives and implementations are happening there is still much much more that needs to be done
We can all play our own part, starting with simple steps, making conscious choices in our buying habits, Buying Less- but better quality, utilising garments for longer, making alterations and changes to exiting garments, styling outfits in different ways….
Recycle, Reuse, Re-purpose,..
The most important thing is the intention and desire to do things differently for a different outcome… By sharing our skills, knowledge, experience and resources we can collectively create A far better world for us and for generations to come

Gratitude to and Alida for this opportunity
It was a pleasure to sit down and talk about my journey, lived experience and learnings so far

It gave me a fresh insight into how much I have travelled and be able to pause and actually reflect on all the hurdles and mountains that I’ve climbed, appreciating the shoots and fruits from the seeds that I planted long ago, celebrating each small win moving that step closer to achieving my ambitions

With it a renewed sense of determination and motivation to keep pushing forward whilst acknowledging my growth as an individual balancing my business and personal endeavours to build a fulfilled and content experience of life through tenacious perseverance constantly planting and nurturing further seeds

We each have our own unique stories and definitions of success and it is my belief that only by sharing these that we can truly help and support each other to form real partnerships, collaborations and support systems creating real impact

Blessed to be able to share my creative entrepreneurial path and hopefully give someone the inspiration, impetus and that resolve to get out there and achieve their hopes and dreams
My biggest learning is The Power of authenticity in finding your path and place in this ever evolving global world….
