First opened in the Southend Victoria Shopping Centre on 6th August 1969 this traditional cobblers has gone on to build a reputation for high quality shoe repairs and a wealth of other services including leather repairs, key cutting, bag and zip repairs to name but a few. Passed from father-in-law to son-in law in

1990 it has since been owned by Chris Robinson, a master craftsman who can repair and rejuvenate the tiredest pair of boots, shoes, sandals and other leather goods, mostly whilst you wait. Plus there’s a range of leather sundries, walking sticks and other goods on offer too. Chris’s loyal Southend customers now visit his shop in Rochford knowing they’ll always be welcomed with a friendly smile and a professional service from this long established local cobbler who has now brought his shop to his hometown of 50 years.

Although the shop on Golden Cross Parade has now closed, Mr Presto, aka Chris is still delivering top notch repairs, key cutting and service at Exclusive Dry Cleaners on Southchurch Road in Southend every Wednesday. ☺️
