🐞So this happened today!!!! So excited. 🥳We did this a few years ago but now the kids are older they’ll get so much more from it.
We have the kit to keep ladybirds and have the information booklet about how to look after them.
I caught these two mating today gave them some aphids. They were mating for longer than 2 hours! Then less than 2 hours later she was laying eggs!
Can you see the ladybird stamper? 🐞That’s so fast! We let the mum and dad go on a rose bush covered in aphids.
Can you guess how many eggs we have? 🥚

Life cycle play dough/cookie stampers.
I actually used to be really afraid of bees but since having kids I try not to show them how scared I am. And I think I’m succeeding 🤞.
We have learnt about frog and ladybird life cycles at home, but that was a few years ago. Maybe time to get butterflies? Tell me what life cycles you’ve done at home or school.
