It’s going to be another hot hot weekend …..hot enough that you can do ALL your washing without getting cold, Pop in and use one of our huge washers and huge dryers…. Getup to 5 standard loads washed & dried in around an hour ….Leaving you more time to do something like this ☀️☀️

Isn’t it wonderful weather!! The sun is shining… and we are all feeling the heat.
According to health experts, In hot weather, due to sweating & also damp / heat increasing the spread of allergens and bacteria… bedding should be washed every 3-7 days.
Pop in to the launderette and use our large, quick washers and dryers to get them all washed and dried in an hour ready to put back in the bed…. Fresh and clean…. Or opt for a service was & leave them with our lovely ladies to do for you.

Doing Extra Laundry can Reduce Hayfever & Allergies.

Many people at this time of the year are turning to antihistamines & the tissue box as pollen counts run high and the warmer days kick in causing streaming noses, watery itchy eyes and more.
Washing bedding is always important but if you suffer from allergies, washing bedding twice a week during the spring months could reduce your hayfever symptoms.
Pollen in the air gets trapped on linens and is transferred from your hair and clothes along with the added moisture from night sweats caused by the allergies and the warmer nights.

One of our contractors visited the Chelsea Flower Show 2026 this weekend… & shared with us this fabulous display which reminded him of us at the launderette…. So nice that we come to mind & what a wonderful washer 🤣☺️

It’s going to be a scorcher this Bank Holiday Weekend…. Hurray for the Sun ☀️
That means the winter woolies will be away in the drawer in favour of summer clothes…. And a slather of sun tan lotion!!
You can never seem to avoid some getting on clothes….. and boy does it stain so here is a hack for removing sun lotion from fabric which might help with your sunny bank holiday weekend launderette wash…..and get your whites back to white….. Oil based sunscreens ...lemon juice or White Vinegar:
Apply lemon juice directly to the stain & soak for approx 15 minutes, then hang in sunlight to dry before washing as normal.
Or... soak in white vinegar for 30 minutes before washing at a high temperature.
Stubborn Sunscreen Stains.... Dishsoap
Apply washing-up liquid directly to the stained area and leave for minimum 10 minutes before soaking in warm water for 30 minutes as a pre wash & then wash as usual.
Extra tip.... With all stains... Always check that the stain is gone before drying, as heat can set the stain permanently.
