We have some big old news for you, but firstly an apology.
A few months ago we made a big song and dance of saying that we were keeping our Rotherham town centre store open. We've been in the town centre for approaching seventeen years and our love for Rotherham persuaded us to hang around with all sorts of misplaced confidence that things would improve. Unfortunately they haven't and we now must now say sorry and share the bad news that 2026 will be our last year of trading in an actual bricks and mortar shop for the foreseeable future.
Depending on whether you like us or not, there's good news in that we're not closing immediately, but instead we're intending to stay until the end of December of this year. So our shop should have a good seven months or so left. There's other good news...
- we'll still be getting new stock through the year,
- we'll obviously be having a closing down sale,
- we'll be staying online after we've closed. Yella isn't finished, just taking a High Street hiatus. We make more via our website than we do in-store, so that's a pretty easy decision.
- our coffee-bar neighbour Over the Rainbow will be staying, but rebranding - there's no point in the Oz theme now is there?

We're more than a little wistful, but still excited about what the future holds.
