The sun sets on another rally, and what a show it was! Rempstone Steam & Country show, you were phenomenal!

This was our first time attending the rally, and I can safely say that we shall be returning next year - it is quite possibly one of my favourites so far this year. Something for everyone, well structured… good beer tent! Brilliant event! Well done and thank you to everyone who organises it.

I’m now on my last trip back from the field taking the caravan to storage and putting her to bed…. Until Thursday!!

Thursday, we head off to another massive show, Weeting Steam Engine and Country Show. This will be the third time I have attended, and it really is a huge celebration of everything vintage. Plus, Dr Busker on the Friday night!!! Dream!

Trip number one to Rempstone Steam & Country Show is well under way. This will be our first time attending.

Get the caravan over, and then it’s back to work for a few hours. Tractors to venture over tonight and then it’s beers beers beers!

This weekend Rempstone Steam and Country Fair celebrates its 70th Anniversary. This was a picture of some of the Showman's engines at the 2023 Show. Leading the line up outside the Beer tent Burrell No. 3285 of 1911 King George V.

Same bike…. Same trailer…. Different condition! The 1952 Matchless G80 500cc had her first outing last weekend at Hollowell Steam & Heavy Horse Show. Dads done a fantastic job restoring her. A couple of little issues to resolve on the fuel side of things, but apart from that, she is superb!

Now Dad can focus on his new project, the Douglas Dragonfly.
