Four months ago I received the news that the Circus Tent Hat I created over many months for the Corset Revival Project Circular Fashion Incubator CIC had gone missing..

The timing is particularly significant as The Great Yorkshire Circus , the inspiration for the hat, is now underway.

Despite being shared around the world, the hat has still not been found.

The other corsets from the Corset Revival Project are currently on display at Fabrication Crafts in Leeds. I’ve asked for a “Missing” poster to be included in the exhibition. I wanted to share this again in the hope that it might trigger a memory for someone.

This was registered with the West Yorkshire Police, but they were unable to progress the case.

The July festival is almost here!

Several hats and fascinators have found new homes over the last fortnight, so I’m bringing out a few more for next week.

I’ve just got time to make a few more small pieces, so if you were choosing one to wear, would you choose?

If you have got your headwear sorted, but would like to add a splash of colour, do come in and see me at the pop up shop on 43 High Street. I’ve got feathers and trims in a multitude of colours which we can add in to your existing piece.

I’m open 10-4 this coming Sunday, then Wednesday - Saturday, NB closing at 2pm on Thursday 9th for Ladies Day.
