The arrival of Spring seems more welcome this year than ever! However, even when the sun is out, it’s still pretty wet underfoot. I have a wide range of waterproof shoes and hi-tops, which people now buy year-round from me because, let’s face it, we live in Britain and a heavy downpour is never that far away….we just have to enjoy the sun when it is shining!

Another new addition to my collection this year! These barefoot Froddo first walkers are the perfect first shoe. I’ve been asked so many times if my online booking system is broken, because there aren’t any appointments available. I’ve also been asked if I’m still on holiday….I wish, is the answer to that one! However, I’m simply fully booked, due to so many school children having booked in for new shoes before September! I’m so sorry if this is frustrating!

If you can’t wait until September when I will have LOTS of appointments available again, please do get in touch. People do cancel or have to move their appointment, so it’s absolutely worth messaging and, if I can fit you in, I promise I will try!

It’s wonderful to be seeing so many customers at the moment, so thank you to all those that have already been in or are coming in later in the month!

I care passionately about foot health and I truly believe that barefoot shoes or shoes with barefoot characteristics are the way forward. Children’s feet are particularly impressionable, as their bones are still so soft and, wearing rigid or ill-fitting shoes can affect how bones grow and muscles function, which in turn can lead to long-term issues with posture, balance and foot strength.

Barefoot shoes are designed to mimic barefoot movement; allowing the feet to move the way they’re designed to.
