I never expected to start a campaign.
Like most people, I assumed I understood how the justice system worked.
I was wrong.
One question led to another. One piece of legislation led to another. Before I knew it, I'd spent weeks researching, contacting organisations and submitting Freedom of Information requests to understand an area of law I'd never even heard of.
This campaign isn't about pretending to have all the answers.
It's about making sure we're asking the right questions—and encouraging an evidence-based conversation about whether the current law gives child victims under 16 the protection they deserve.
Thank you to everyone who's followed the journey so far. Every conversation, comment and share helps more people discover an issue that many of us never knew existed.

🚨 OUR OFFICIAL UK PARLIAMENT PETITION IS NOW LIVE! 🚨
Today marks a huge milestone for the Children Shouldn't Be Time-Barred campaign. 💜
After months of determination, our official UK Parliament petition has now been published.
We're calling on the Government to review and reform statutory prosecution time limits that can affect child victims under the age of 16.
This campaign isn't about attacking individuals or reliving one case. It's about asking whether our current laws give every child a fair opportunity for justice and whether changes are needed to better protect children.
🙏 Today, I'm asking for your help.
✅ Please sign the petition if you're eligible.
✅ Please share it with your family and friends. ✅ Please invite others to follow this page.
Every signature helps show Parliament that this issue matters.
Together, we can raise awareness and encourage meaningful discussion about protecting child victims.
