Drop-off point for donations is the blue bin in Sainsbury's. Based at Westborough Methodist Church.

It’s been another busy week but our latest school uniform giveaway is complete!

It has been wonderful to welcome 150 families to collect free uniform for schools all over Scarborough and the surrounding area.

🙏A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers who make these events possible

🙏Thanks to everyone who has donated clean, reusable school uniform. Our drop-off point remains at Sainsbury’s Scarborough and will be regularly emptied over the summer

🙏Thanks also to the generous team at Rumours for donating their left-over stock

SUR MYTHBUSTERS 💥

❌“You have to bring something to swap”
✅Our giveaway events are not exchange. We always appreciate donations of clean, reusable uniform but it isn’t necessary.

❌”You have to be on benefits”
✅SUR is open to everybody. We aim to save families money and stop clothing going to landfill. If you could use a spare jumper or need to kit out in full for September, you are very welcome.

❌”You can only take a few items”
✅We have been operating for 5 years and build up lots of stock. We want as much as possible to be collected!

❌“I haven’t got any cash”
✅All our uniform is FREE - we do not charge for any items.

❌”It will all be tatty”
✅Our uniform is a mixture of brand new items and good quality pre-loved items.

We open today for the Big Summer Giveaway!
Everyone is welcome!

Scarborough Uniform Recycle's Big Summer Giveaway is back!

Join us at Westborough Methodist Church from 21st - 24th July for our school uniform giveaway event. As always, all uniform is completely free of charge, absolutely everyone is welcome and whilst donations of uniform are always welcome, there is no need to exchange anything.

We are hugely grateful to the wonderful team at Rumours who have kindly donated their brand new leftover stock. This will be available at the giveaway.

Our drop-off point remains in place in Sainsbury's Scarborough where donations of clean, reusable uniform can be brought.
