From a holiday styling SOS… to THIS! 🇯🇵❤️

While I was away in America, I received this message from the lovely Amanda…

“Maddie I’m stressing. I’m going on holiday to Japan in a few weeks. We have some very nice places booked for the evening but the Japanese dress code seems to be a little conservative to say the least.

I love your post today that says wear what you want (especially Ryan’s sparkly dress 😂) and normally I would, but I don’t feel confident enough to do that as we’re going with neighbours. I want to make a good impression with our friends xx”

Well… Hubbs to the rescue! 🙌🏼

This was Amanda’s very first visit to Wynyard Re:Loved and between them they found something that ticked ALL the boxes … appropriate for those gorgeous evenings in Japan, but still stylish, flattering and most importantly, something that made Amanda feel FABULOUS.

And then I received this message…

How beautiful does Amanda look?!

Sometimes it just takes somebody else to pick something off the rail that you’d NEVER normally choose for yourself. That’s the beauty of personal styling…pushing you ever so slightly outside your comfort zone and showing you just how fabulous you can feel.

And the fact she couldn’t stop asking for her picture to be taken… that, for me, says everything about how clothes can completely change the way we feel about ourselves. 🥰

First visit to Re:Loved… I have a feeling it definitely won’t be the last. 😉

Not my usual type of post… but today I was completely sucked in by Jellycat’s VERY clever marketing for their exclusive drop 💜💙🩵

And yes… I got the bunny or 2 😂🐰

Who else managed to get their hands on one?!

The whole experience actually made me think about you lot in the boutique… because I suddenly understand the pressure. 😂

You see something you LOVE. You know you probably don’t need it. You tell yourself you’ll think about it…

BUT YOU ALSO KNOW THERE’S ONLY ONE. 😩

And if you walk away, somebody else could buy it and that might be your only chance.

That is literally Wynyard Re:Loved every single day. There isn’t another size out the back, I can’t order another one in and once it’s gone… IT’S GONE.

So after today’s Jellycat drama, I would formally like to apologise for every time I’ve said…

“Just have a think about it.” 😂

Because now I understand the panic.
