I sold 16 of my original mini oil paintings over the past 2 months ♥️ I didn’t expect to have such a successful start as a new artist but oh boy, did you prove me wrong! Not only did they all sell super fast, but now I’m working on some commissions as well, while building my next collection at the same time. So happy to be this busy! 😍
Thanks so much for your support, it means the world to me!

P.S. I’m thinking to offer prints, postcards, greeting cards or even stickers, what do you think? Would you be interested in any of these?

Let’s make a mini painting together! 🎨 🖌️
I keep wanting to film the process but I use my phone to check the reference picture constantly, the same phone that I use for filming content. I tried printing my reference pictures but the colours are never right! I have to find a solution for that because I’d like to share more of my painting process with you ♥️
Until then I hope you enjoy this format ☺️

Let me know what you’d like to see next!

Today I have some more vintage goodness that I haven’t shared with you.
All are orders from May (I know, it’s July…🫣) but they are all beautiful and deserve to be featured in a reel ☺️

So first is a pair of stunning hand painted ducks, that was a lucky purchase at a car boot! Then a gorgeous brass letter holder and an ink stand just as beautiful but with some damage. A ceramic Dalmatian (not Staffordshire but still very cute), an embroidered pin cushion that I got from an elderly couple at a car boot sale, a brass legs nutcracker, a delicate floral cross stitch, a needlepoint landscape. Them two sets of Wedgwood mugs (a set went to Switzerland, and the other to Japan!), a pair of brass flying ducks, a brass fly trinket box, a brass cat letter holder, a wonderful original painting, a very unique wooden tray, a swan wall decoration, a small watercolour painting, and an unframed oil pastel landscape.

They all must have arrived to their new homes in the meantime and I hope they brought a little bit of joy 🥰 I don’t know if this feature is available for my page (apparently Instagram is still testing it), but if you ever bought anything from me can you add a photo on the comments? I’d love to see it in your space ♥️

These lovely vintage pieces sold from my shop more than a month ago but I didn’t get a chance to share them until now. There’s still a lot of things that sold in the meantime which I will share soon ♥️ As my small business is going through a transition phase where I try to focus on my art as well as continue to sell beautiful vintage home decor, I find it harder to incorporate everything in the same amount of time that I had before. 😄 But I’ll find a way because I want to continue to do both!
So in today’s video there are quite a few brass pieces - a pair of duck bookends, a pair of ornate fire dogs, a trivet, an art nouveau trinket dish, a pair of mantle pheasants, a small collie dog, a WW1 trench art ashtray and a turtle box. A large Staffordshire dog also went to a new home, and so did a milk glass bird on nest. There are also three framed embroideries, a cast iron soap holder, a cloisonne butterfly brooch 🦋
A Victorian amber glass thorn vase with uranium glass base, and last but not least a pair of oak candlesticks.

Let me know which one of these beauties was your favourite ♥️ For me it’s the brass duck bookends and the brass fire dogs 😍

I moved here as an immigrant 7 years ago and slowly England made itself home, in small moments that I tried to capture in this collection.

My first miniature art collection “Small Wonders” sold out in less than 3 hours! (Thanks again, I still want to pinch myself!!) “Postcards from England” will be launched tomorrow, 19th June, at 7pm (UK time). All these pretties will be available for purchase on my website, which is linked in my profile.

I hope you’ll love these as much as I do ♥️
Thanks so much for all the love and support, even when I’m not as present here as I would like. Life has been sooo busy lately 🥹

See you tomorrow!!

Much love,
Angela 🫶

The “Postcards from England” original art collection is postponed until Friday, 19th June, 7pm (UK time).
I was overly optimistic when I originally planned it for tomorrow. I should have known better given that I had a lot of other things going on this week. Life has been life-ing hard 😅

Keep your eyes peeled for future updates! Thanks so so much for your continued support ♥️♥️♥️

Much love,
Angela

I added some wonderful pieces in my shop today! 🥰
I’m very happy with the horse bookends, they just be my favourites from today’s round of goodies🐴 I also love the hen on nest, so unusual! The strawberry jam jar and the mug are so adorable and perfect for this time of year 🍓
The brass door knocker goes well with the bookends, and the brass candle holder is very pretty.
Staffordshire dogs are a staple in my vintage shop and I love sourcing them. The Indian carved wooden boxes are quite a popular choice too so I always tend to buy them. And I also love the beautifully illustrated books with botanical prints.
The Murano glass rooster was such an unexpected find from last week’s car boot sale! Never had one in my shop and I can’t wait to see if someone will want to give him a home. 🥰
And last but surely not least, a large hand painted vase, made in Italy. Such a statement piece! 😍

Which one of these things is your favourite? ☺️

I absolutely LOVED painting this beautiful summer landscape 😍 I can see myself walking on that quiet farmers road and enjoying all the lush green around me. Isn’t England such a gorgeous country, especially in the summertime?

This oil painting will be part of my next collection called “Postcards from England”, and it will be available for purchase on Friday, 12th June, at 8pm (UK time)!
Please note that I don’t do reservations on my original artwork collections, so please set a reminder if you’re interested in purchasing a piece of my art, it will be a first come, first served kind of sale, to give a fair chance to everyone ♥️

I’ll share more of this collection over the next week, I hope you’ll love it! 😍
