New York Bride opened in Eckington in August 2008, and has since expanded into the premises next door, so is now twice the size of the original shop to support our growing business. Our aim is to sell designer wedding gowns for a fraction of the cost of a traditional wedding dress shop. All of our gowns are sourced directly from the designers or their distributors in the UK, and are all brand new.
The gowns are excess stock, last season designs and one-offs and all gowns are available immediately. As a result we are able to market dresses, which would usually retail from £900 to £2000, at a maximum price of £750. In stock we have a huge range of over 300 dresses from size 8 to size 26. We also keep a range of veils, tiaras and other accessories in store. At New York Bride we will support you through the whole process from choosing and selecting dresses to suggesting seamstresses in the area, to finally steaming your dress the week before your wedding. We are located on High Street in Eckington, next door to The Cake Booth with parking in front of the shop (1 hour limit) or on any side street in the village.
