Did you know your eyes can offer useful insights into your heart health? 👁️❤️

At Christopher Young Opticians, we’re proud to offer retinal screening with Dr. Noon, an AI-powered tool that can highlight hidden cardiovascular risk from a simple, non-invasive eye scan.

The tiny blood vessels in the retina can reveal changes linked to your wider vascular health, helping to identify risk before a heart attack or stroke occurs.

Celebrate World Heart Day today by taking a closer look at your heart health.

Ask in practice about adding Dr. Noon to your regular eye appointment.

Sunglasses aren’t just for summer ☀️🕶️

As the sun sits lower in the sky during autumn and winter, our eyes can be exposed to more direct UV radiation, making good UV protection important at this time of year.

Low sun can also create challenging glare when driving, so having a pair of prescription sunglasses to hand can make journeys much more comfortable.

If prescription sunglasses have been on your wish list, now is the time to pick up a quality pair and make a significant saving.

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, when you buy two complete pairs of glasses, we’ll give you the lenses in your second pair free.

The offer runs until 31st October 2026.
