❗❗LOST AND FOUND❗❗
Hello everyone! We were thrilled with how well attended the last car boot was, especially with it being such a hot day.

Once again we've had a couple of lost items reported - this time both phones. We've fortunately already found one and reunited it with its owner - but we're still on the lookout for a lost Samsung phone in a black case. The person who lost it believes they set it down while buying some crutches, if that helps jog anyone's memory.

If anyone spotted this phone while packing away their stall, please let us know!

Today's car boot (25/05/2026) is off to a busy start! There's plenty of stalls, so drop by and find a few bargains!

Hello everyone! The car boot tomorrow (25/05/2026) will be going ahead as planned. It is forecasted to hit highs of 29, so please remember to bring drinks and hats, especially if you're visiting with children or animals.

As usual, we'll have the normal stalls selling food and drinks in the car boot field, but don't forget the Village Hall will also be open, selling refreshments and providing somewhere to sit out of the sun.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Attention please!⛔️

While our last car boot was a great success, raising a hefty amount to be split between the Church and Village hall, and we're so grateful for everyone who came along to buy and sell, we did have a few issues we'd like to highlight.

Whoever thought leaving a smashed pane of glass behind was a kind and decent thing to do, is going to have to think about what could happen when leaving such a dangerous bit of waste in the middle of a grassy field where children and pets regularly play.

If you are having issues packing something back into your vehicle, please notify one of our volunteers as we'd like to try our best and work with people in situations like these. We'd like to thank the seller who reported the broken glass to us, which was left in the field by another seller, as even just knowing there was smashed glass on the field was much better than it being left and easily run into which could have cause serious harm to young children, inquisitive pets, or car tyres.

We'd also like to warn people that dogs need to be kept on their leads, as we had reports of a dog roaming around unattended, which isn't safe for your dog or the people around it. So again, please keep your pets on leads while at the car boot.

Finally, we want to also remind everyone that buyer's blue badge parking is first come first serve, and we're not able to reserve spaces or park blue badge holders on the sellers field. One individual got quite unpleasant about this, and tried to force their way onto the sellers field to park. This behaviour is unacceptable, and not welcome at our car boots. Please always remain reasonable when talking to volunteers, and do not put other car booters in danger by ignoring our instructions and trying to drive to areas you've clearly been told not to, and are full pedestrians, many of which are children - which isn't something that should really need to be said.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we hope to see you all later on, on the 25th of May (2026!) to enjoy another car boot with you, fingers crossed for good weather!

❗❗LOST AND FOUND❗❗

We're pleased to say that the last car boot was very well attended, although, it seems a few people left their bargains (or other belonging) behind! If one of these items is yours, or you know who it belongs to, please send us a DM.

Item 1 - A blue sweater style garment we found in the seller's field.

Item 2 - A George Foreman Grill which was paid for, but never collected.

Item 3 - (No picture for this one) A Light blue folded wallet, thats a "knock off Hermes", which we think may have been left on a car boot stall and accidentally packed away with it. It belonged to one of our volunteers, so we'd really appreciate anyone getting in touch if they've spotted this one.
