We’re hiring.

We’re looking for a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our team at Needles & Pins Aerospace in Somerton.

This is a hands-on production role working on precision textile and composite components used in specialist engineering and aerospace environments. It’s not clothing or repair work, so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency and high-quality workmanship.

If you have experience with industrial sewing machines and can work from patterns, templates or technical instructions, we’d like to hear from you.

We would just like to let all our lovely customers know that we will not be opening on the 10th and 17th of December and as of 2022, we will no longer be open on Fridays. Our opening times will be Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30.

😷FACE MASK UPDATE😷

As of today, many restrictions in England have been relaxed. Whilst this is great news for many people and means returning to a sense of normality, we understand that for some it is still a worry.

Therefore, although wearing a face covering is no longer mandatory, we will still encourage our customers to please wear a face mask or covering when visiting us. Staff will use their discretion and if they feel comfortable for both themselves and the customer to not wear a face covering (for example if talking to a customer outside of the building, or where there is at least a 2m distance between themselves and the customer) you will not have to wear one.

Please note that if you enter the building, we will ask you to use hand sanitiser which is available in reception, or wash your hands. We encourage customers to scan our NHS Test and Trace QR code which is displayed throughout the building.
