We wanted to say how nice it was to be back at the Hayride at the weekend and what great comments we had from our lovely customers and friends, it was so lovely to see so many of you, we have sorely missed trading at the Hayride, as we were at the very first one until the pandemic hit but then health changed us trading, which is why we are online only now, but we had quite a lot of our own personal items to sell, so we did the car boot and it was busy. 🤩🤩
On the other side of the good vibes, there is always something to dampen it, when we started Hotrod Tiki back in 2003, we always wanted to do that something different to other traders over here, we wanted to sell the items that we were using, wearing, watching, etc; so we put our heart and soul into finding that something a bit different, mainly American or Hawaiian, not treading on anyone’s toes in the process, but there is one trader that just keeps copying what we have done for years, even over the weekend to ask us about a product we have in stock and have sold exclusively in this Country, and to say they are going to do this product, which they would not have heard of if we had not been stocking it on our website, we just wish people like this would use their own imagination and find their own niche in the market... 🤬 Rant over...
