We're back at this years HGYFL Cup Finals!
SoccaGirl are again awarding Player Sponsorship to 3 lucky winners selected from the Player of the Match winners pool.
What do we look for when awarding points to players throughout the game?
⚽️ Positive attitude
⚽️ Sportsmanship
⚽️ Work rate, both on and off the ball
⚽️ Encouragement
⚽️ Reactions to mistakes (theirs and others)
⚽️ Contribution to the play (on and off the ball)
We are not looking for the best players on the pitch, we're looking for the best characters; there is more to the game than 'tekkers'!
Our Player Sponsorship is not exclusive to these POTM awards however; we may wish to offer further awards for the 2026/27 season to any Player in the HGYFL.
