This beautiful bride wanted more coverage for her wedding day. So, instead of just adding a triangle of fabric to the sweetheart neckline, we decided to make the new neckline a feature for the dress!

Which was achieved by adding a custom panel to the neckline in a complimentary fabric. The bride was given the option of having the back ending in points or straight in line with the zip. As well as the option for the panel to be detachable!

It’s always better to buy a wedding dress that is too large than too small!

This wedding dress was a couple of sizes too big for this beautiful bride and therefore had the following alterations completed across three fittings:
-Take up shoulders
-Take in Sides
-Take in back
-bra cups added
-Hems shortened
-Replace button elastic looping down the back
-1x over bustle

And now the dress looks like it was made for them!

I had a lovely email the other week from one of my beautiful brides to say her wedding was on the front cover of Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding magazine!

Taz’s wedding dress from had the following alterations:

-Shoulders taken up
-Bodice sides taken in
-Hips taken in
-Hems shortened
-Over bustle

This beautiful lace dress had all the standard alterations and a customisation:

-The sides were taken in
-Straps were shortened
-Hems were shortened
-Over bustle added
-The bust of the dress was reshaped
-lace was added to the deep V neckline

Probably about time I post some 2025 before and afters…. This sleek wedding dress needed a few subtle alterations which made all the difference:

- shoulders lifted
- to smooth the neckline the bust seams were taken in
- taken in through the zip
- hips taken in
- shortened the hems
- an over bustle
- 4 scrunchies made from the hem off cuts
