My brand NEW Online Paper Slippers Workshop is on Monday 10th July, 4-9pm UK time!!

This online Paper Slippers workshop will take place live on Zoom. In this session I will demonstrate patchworking and piecing papers using hand and machine stitch to create the 'fabric' for your slippers. I will then go onto showing you how to construct the 3 dimensional slippers. I will also show ideas to decorate the slipper, such as paper Suffolk Puffs, mini paper roses and decorative hand stitches like cross stitch, blanket stitch and a beautiful Venetian needlelace stitched edge.

Materials are not provided for this workshop, but all essential materials should be things that you can very easily find.

You can choose to hand or machine stitch the papers in this workshop, and I will give you hints and tips for both.

In this online workshop you will make paper slippers from found and recycled papers that are 18 x 7 x 3cm (7 x 2.7 x 1.1") approx.

You will have the choice to work alongside me throughout the day or watch my demonstrations but work away from the screen. There will be a half an hour break halfway through the workshop.

So happy my lamp has sold and gone to a good home! will be adding the last finishing touches to a steam punk top hat lamp, which will then be over Scarletts, so be quick! My lamps are all original one off vintage pieces. They are a real conversation piece, thank you scarlets!

We're awaiting the arrival of a new steampunk inspired lamp, it's just being finished by our very talented, Kerry Baker-Davis so watch this space!
