Frank & Betty – It Feels Like Nobody Wants Them 💔
We honestly don’t know what else to do.
We’ve shared them. We’ve pleaded for them. We’ve told their story over and over again.
And still… nothing. not one suitable home to give these two beautiful dogs a chance.
Frank and Betty have been waiting for months, and we’re starting to wonder if anyone is even seeing them. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.
They’ve already lost so much. They lost their mum. They lost their home. And now, it feels as though they are being overlooked simply because they need to stay together.
Their wonderful foster mum has gone above and beyond for them, but she can’t keep them forever. She has her own little rescue dog waiting to come home. Frank and Betty desperately need somewhere to go.
They need someone to choose them. 💔
Frank & Betty are just 4 years old.
They are bonded siblings who have each other — and, really, they’ve had little else. They sleep curled up together, groom each other, play-fight and generally behave like two big, goofy bears.
Frank (Chunky/Pumbaa) is a big, lovable clown. He’s obsessed with food, makes hilarious noises when he wants attention, does a little happy dance when he’s excited and absolutely loves his squeaky toys.
Betty is the quieter, gentler one. She can be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’ll quietly ask for affection and curl up beside you. She loves being outdoors, pottering around the garden or enjoying a good run and explore in a secure dog field.
At home, they are huge cuddle bugs. They love their people, their sofa, and would happily claim your bed too if given half a chance!
They can be left for a few hours, but what they really want is to belong somewhere. To have a home. To have someone who loves them.
They do need:
• A calm, patient home
• A secure garden in the country ideally
• No cats or small children
• Someone willing to open their heart and home to a bonded pair
Frank and Betty also have stage 2 kidney disease. But please, please don’t let those words make you scroll past them.
